 Vocabulary
aperture a device that controls amount of light admitted
shutter
 a mechanical device on a camera that opens and closes to control the time of a photographic exposure
exposure  the total amount of light allowed to fall on the photographic medium
depth of field the distance in front of and behind the subject that appears to be in focus
F-stop The measurement of light able to pass through the photographic lens.
focal length focal distance: the distance from a lens to its focus
Visible spectrum The light spectrum between 400 and 700 nm, which is detectable by the human eyeDark Room room that can be made completely dark to allow the processing of light sensitive photographic materials, including photographic film and photographic paper.
Leaf Shutter  is a device that allows light to pass for a determined period of time
Frame Rate  or frame frequency, is the frequency (rate) at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames.
